The ABCs of Homeschooling - Letter J
Thiry years ago, God called me on a journey. Although the journey appeared to be homeschooling, in reality, it was more about trusting God. It was also more about character development; specifically mine.
There were many twists and turns and bumps in the road. There were times when I literally could not sleep because of the "what ifs". Many were the times I contemplated quitting. However, that was never an option. God called me to homeschool and he never uncalled me.
How do you prepare for a journey of such magnitude? Well, in this case, I didn't. Instead, I learned to live in daily, sometimes hourly, dependence on God. That's really what he asks of all of us, anyway.
The Lord may have you on a journey that you would have never chosen for yourself. Take heart, you are not the only one. In fact, the apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 1:8, We were crushed and overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure so that we despaired of life itself.
Are you crushed, despairing, overwhelmed? Take heart. There is an end.

Good advice, as usual.
